i have won a three dollar scratch off ticket but the retailer can not cash it i have to send it to pa lottery?

I tried three stores with the same thing comming up. he printed it out and it said retailer do not pay please contact lottery. when i get this together i’ll post something this week.

I work in a convenience store & sell Lotto tickets every day.

What probably happened was either:
1) You actually won OVER $600 or more.

- When your winning is over $600 (or another amount depending on your state), then you have to fill out a form to send to your state to receive your winnings from the state.

2) The lottery retailer who SOLD you that ticket did NOT activate the tickets before selling to you.
- Before the lottery retailers sell you a scratcher ticket, they activate it in the machine FIRST before they sell it to you. Most likely, the person who sold you that ticket did NOT activate it.

So you should go back to the store who sold you that ticket & ask them to activate the ticket for you. Then, you will be able to cash in the ticket.
