Coaching Youth Football Facts

Where football coaching youth that we have all heard the saying: "This is not the X and the O's It's about the Jimmys and Joes. In essence, this word has tried to tell you is; Youth Football is all about the talent level, it has nothing to do with coaching or projects. The next time you hear this word, please consider the source. Is he a football coach Youth has always poor performing teams? How convenient to assign the responsibility solely on the players for the success of the team. In doing so the coach can avoid personal responsibility for his teams failure or success. He might as well play the lottery because it said, the success or failure of his team based solely on who is living in his field, he is an adult and had signed for the team.

Lack of consistency in the "Talent" Crowd

Take a step back and start the basic premise of this irresponsible:

According to these guys ALL youth football players are created uniquely different, some are very good, some average and some are poor. The premise states that because of these large variations in player talent levels, the productivity of teams, they play varies in direct proportion these players unique abilities.

Now what about the coaches? As it is 100% about the Jimmies and Joes, coaching and the schemes not count much at all, I suppose that all coaches and schemes must be equal.

So God created all these football players uniquely different with different amounts of athletic ability, intelligence, desire, determination and decision making capacity but when it comes to football coaches, God decided Nope, I will do all these guys exactly alike. If this is correct, what happens when a player football is the "Jimmys and Joes" crowd says is so unique and so different that anyone who becomes a coach? Does this person is unique, suddenly changed into a clone of all the other coaches? Is what God says "you are different when you have this helmet on, but once I see you with helmet and a whistle around your neck, I'll change into a clone of all the other coaches out there?

Of course not, that some stupid idea made by coaches whose teams fail to do well feel better themselves.

Regardless of the talent? Well sure is the case, but he is coaching and make plans. We have all seen very athletic and physically imposing teams lose against teams less talented, it happens every week in youth football. There are coaches in our league of mine and our opponents whose teams to win no matter level, age group or level of talent of their teams. In my organization of youth football, I knew that any team that I gave Jay Stacy B or S would be very good and they have always done. The skill levels varied considerably on the teams these guys every year but their results varied only slightly. The same can be said of the coaches as Monte O, Bill, Rich D, Scott P, who coaches against us. They earn year after year, regardless of age group, division or level of talent.

Just like the players, coaches can get better and all that is needed is a commitment and some time to educate and prepare to be a better coach. Obviously, you're on the right path if you take the time to be on this site and read this article.
