Got question bout my pennsylvania big 4 lottery ticket?

I hade a friend pick up some big 4 Lotto tickets for me i asked for the box 1 pair game but she was haveing trouble understanding the man at the counter so im not sure what games he played for me but some of the tickets have bx12 on them and some have bx24 can someone tell me what these mean please

Both of them are simply Boxes. That is, you will win if the winning number is in any arrangement of your numbers.
For example, if your number is 1234 and the winning number is 3412, you will win about $200 for a $1 bet.

Bx24 and Bx12 are simply the number of possible permutations of your selected number. If all the 4-digits of your number are different(eg.1234), they write Bx24; if two of the 4-digits are identical (eg. 1123 ), they write Bx12; if three of the 4-digits are identical(eg. 1112), they write Bx4. There is also Bx6 for two-and-two (eg. 1122).

The 24, 12, 6, 4 indicate the permutations. Let’s take the number 1122. This number can be arranged as 1122, 2211,1221, 2112,1212,2121. That is six possible arrangements. This is why it is termed as Bx6. Similarly the number 1234 can be arranged in 24 differeny ways, and so on.

For each dollar Bx24 pays $200, Bx12 pays $400, Bx6 pays $800, Bx4 pays $1200. ( These are approximate payments adapted by most states, Penn may have different payouts, but will not be much different from the above).
